Arsenal Beat Leicester City In Seven-Goal Premier League Opener

Oliver Giroud came off the Arsenal bench to grab a moral boasting three points for the Gunners in the first game of the Premier League new season.

Arsenal £50m new signing from Lyon, Alex Lacazette scored on his premier league debut to give Arsene Wenger's men 1-0 lead inside 2 minutes.

Shinji Okazaki restored parity within 3 minutes of going behind. 

Jamie Vardy who nearly signed for the Gunners last summer scored to put Leicester City 2-1 up in the 29th minute.

Danny Welbeck scored with virtually last kick of the first half to restore parity for the Arsenal.

Jamie Vardy scored his second of the game in the 56th minute to send shock waves around the Emirates Stadium.

Second half subs, Aaron Ramsey and Oliver Giroud both scored in the 83rd and 85th minute respectively to give the Gunners an epic opening day Premier League victory at the Emirates Stadium.
